Magnesium Lotion - 4oz

This Transdermal Magnesium Therapy Lotion is a smooth and nourishing all natural lotion that can help to moisturize the skin while also preventing discomfort or dryness. About 1 teaspoon of this lotion delivers appoximately 280mg of elemental magnesium.* The nice thing about using lotion to get magnesium is that you can't overdose, your body absorbs only what it needs; and you also won't get an upset stomach like some magnesium pills can cause - however some recommend using both pills and lotion; please be sure to consult a physician before using pills.

These are typically made to order, unless already in stock; please be aware it may take a few days to make before it is shipped out.

Ingredients: Magnesium Brine (Distilled Water and 100% Pure magnesium Flakes from the Ancient Zechstein Seabed); Organic, Extra Virgin Olive Oil; Organic 100% Pure Shea Butter; Organic 100% Pure Beeswax; Optiphen Plus (Which is an all natural preservative); and Essential Oil(s).

Directions for use: Using clean, dry hands, take a desired amount of lotion (I use about 2 teaspoons) and massage onto the skin. Areas with thinner skin will absorb the magnesium the best. Many suggest applying to the bottom of your feet, your inner thighs, and/or your stomach. Using Magnesium Lotion is best applied daily to help restore the body's magnesium levels and promote good rest. *

- Avoid contact with eyes. This is for external use only. Please keep out of reach of children. In case of a reaction, discontinue use and wash off right away.

- It can itch or have a slight tingly sensation, especially when you first start using magnesium; however, it shouldn't burn. When I started using this lotion, I did notice a tiny itch and a slight tingly/warming sensation the first 2 times I used it, but not since.

- As it is like a salt, I have noticed that sometimes it leaves my hands a little gritty/tacky, I haven't really noticed it where I applied it, but that could be to it being applied under clothes. I typically apply it to my stomach and thighs before bed, and sometimes my feet. (I also apply it to my left elbow since I have tennis elbow, it doesn't completely get rid of the pain, but I must tell you, this lotion does work and relieves quite a bit of the pain from my tennis elbow). Please keep in mind that though this lotion can moisturize, this is a lotion to help you get magnesium into your blood stream.

- Please do not apply to your face.

- It can apply greasy while it's absorbing into the skin, if you desire, after applying the lotion and letting it absorb for 20 minutes or so you can wash it off to keep from having the gritty and/or greasy feel if it doesn’t soak in. Typically the more you rub it in, like with any lotion, the less “greasy” it’ll be.
